I feel like movie critics today have TOTALLY lost touch with what the average movie goer enjoys about watching movies. For me watching movies should be a more personalized experienced with an "opinion" that is just as personal. The Movie Stand blog is a place for me to archive movies that I've seen and to offer my personal opinion. Hopefully even though it's my opinion I can provide some simple useful insight for others who truly want a down to earth opinion about movies.

No surprise here, not as good as cars but a good fun movie to watch with the family.

Zero Dark Thirty

Good action packed war movie. I enjoyed it.

Purge: Anarchy

I know many people thought that this movie was stupid. From the beginning I thought that this was an interesting concept. Not an academy award winner but it's action packed and entertaining if you don't have any other options.
